The Hallelujah Side

 

Oh, what rejoicing fills the soul
When our Savior makes us whole…
He sets our spirit free.

Praise God! We no longer reside
On the dark and gloomy side…
He fills our heart with glee.

This world holds no attraction, friend,
When the Shepherd takes us in…
His Kingdom satisfies.

No longer bound in sin and shame,
Freed by grace to praise His name…
Every need He supplies.

In His green pastures we are fed
And by His hand we are led…
He is our Light and Guide.

One day we shall behold His face
In that great and glorious place…
Evermore to abide…

But until then, what joy divine
Basking in new life sublime…
On The Hallelujah Side!
