Be Still

So many things to do
In this busy world today;
We're constantly on the move
As we work and as we play.
Oh, how we need to come aside
From all the activity,
And just be still before our Maker
As we think on eternity.
Though we may walk close with Him
In fellowship each day,
It's important to have that special time
To bow our hearts and pray.
Just to pause and give Him thanks
For all the love He's shown,
As we humbly kneel and worship
Before His Holy Throne.
In the quietness of our spirit
He'll speak His perfect will,
As we learn to listen with our hearts,
And just be very still.

"Be still and know that I am God."
(Ps. 46:10)
