A Home in Glory
I long for a home, where saints and angels roam,
And God’s glory shines so bright;
On streets of pure gold, such great blessings unfold…
There in His Glorious Light.
In that land above, filled with goodness and love,
A place is prepared for me;
I shall go, one day, to my home far away…
Where Christ, my Savior, I’ll see.
I’ll sit at His feet, what a wonderful treat!
And I’ll praise Him face to face;
I’ll worship my King, and forevermore sing…
Of His great mercy and grace.
I long for my home, where I’ll know as I’m known,
In that great city above;
I’ll meet at the door, loved ones gone on before…
To mansions sparkling with love.
No worry or care, in that bright land so fair –
No suffering, tears, or pain –
Completely made whole, joy shall fill every soul…
There on that glorious plane.
Oh, come to the King, all your heart to Him bring,
Come, hear the gospel story;
As you bow your knee, Friend, He will set you free…
You’ll have A Home in Glory!
"…Christ in you, the hope of glory."
"When Christ, who is our life, shall appear, then shall ye also appear
with him in glory."
(Col 1:27; 3:4)
