He Is With Us

 

In the heat of the battle – God is there –
His people shall prevail…
He provides spiritual armor to wear
That cannot ever fail.
He Is With Us.

In the hot fiery furnace – God is there –
He’s forever the same…
As in days of old, we can trust His care
To shield us from the flame.
He Is With Us.

In the deep, dark waters, friend – God is there –
We shall never perish…
He loves us with a love beyond compare…
Each life He doth cherish.
He Is With Us.

When we face angry lions – God is there –
There’s no need for alarm…
He can shut mouths of lions anywhere,
And shield us from all harm.
He Is With Us.

As we face giants in life, friend – God is there –
He’ll give the victory…
He helped David slay the giant and the bear,
And He’ll help you and me.
He Is With Us.

 

 Thus saith the Lord: “When thou passest through the waters, I will be with thee;
and through the rivers, they shall not overflow thee; when thou walkest through the fire,
thou shalt not be burned; neither shall the flame kindle upon thee.
For I am the Lord thy God, the Holy One of Israel, thy Saviour”
