Occupy Till He Comes
While there is time to make a difference,
Let us occupy, my friend,
And be about our Father’s business…
Until Jesus comes again.
The fields are white, ready to harvest,
There is much work to be done,
Let us fervently serve our Savior…
In this race that we must run.
And as we fight the good fight of faith,
Hearts forgiven, clean, and pure,
Let us be good soldiers of the Cross…
And count it joy to endure.
Let us minister to the widow
And to the fatherless child,
Reaching out to the needs before us…
Living a Godly lifestyle.
One day we shall see His holy face
And hear the Father’s “Well Done”…
As we love and serve Jesus, our King…
We Occupy Till He Comes.
Jesus said (parable): “A certain nobleman
went into a far country to receive for himself a kingdom,
and to return. And he called his ten servants, and delivered them ten
pounds, and said unto them,
Occupy till I come. But his citizens hated him, and sent a message after
him saying,
We will not have this man to reign over us.”
The Psalmist said: “Serve the Lord with gladness” “The
Lord reigneth; let the earth rejoice”
“The Lord is King for ever and ever”
(Lu 19:12-14; Ps 100:2; 97:1; 10:16)
