Lighter Burdens

 

 

When we bear the burdens of another -
Suffering with our sister and brother,
Lifting them up in fervent prayer,
Lending a hand - showing we care,
Sharing their time of pain and sorrow,
Giving assurance of a better tomorrow,
Making their day just a little bit brighter,
We find our own burdens so much lighter.

 

 

"Bear ye one another's burdens, and so fulfill the law of Christ."
