God's Precious Truth

 

 

The precious Truth of God’s Word
Is our stabilizing force—
Our bright Light in this dark world—
Our one dependable source.
It’s a lamp unto our feet,
Illumining our pathway,
And sweet manna from above…
Nourishing our hearts each day.

The Word of God comes alive,
When Jesus, His Son, we know;
As we enter His Kingdom…
Creation takes on a glow.
Eternal life is ours,
Right now, and forevermore…
Praise God for His precious Truth
That brings us through Heaven’s door.

Oh, let us search the Scriptures
For the Truth that is within—
The Truth of our precious Lord
Who willingly died for sin.
He is seen throughout the Book,
For it testifies of Him,
He’s right there on every page…
From Genesis to the end…
God’s Precious Truth.

 

Jesus said: “Search the scriptures;
for in them ye think ye have eternal life;
and they are they which testify of me.”
(Jn 5:39)
