Our Good Shepherd Is There

 

 

In the best of times, and the worst of times,
Our Good Shepherd is there;
Whatever the circumstances may be…
We are safe in His care.

When we walk thru the dark valleys of life,
We are never alone,
Our Lord is right there to comfort and guide…
He makes His presence known.

Those troublesome times, we think are the worst,
Can be the very best,
As we’re conformed to the image of Christ…
To be forever blest.

And when we walk high upon the mountain,
And all seems bright and fair,
Our precious Lord holds us close, lest we fall…
Into the tempter’s snare.

Let us keep our eyes on Jesus our Lord,
And trust His loving care;
No trial or vict’ry can ever hurt us…
Our Good Shepherd Is There.

 

Jesus said: “I am the good shepherd, and know my sheep,
and am known of mine.”
“…nothing shall by any means hurt you.”
“...lo, I am with you always, even unto the end of the world.”
(Jn 10:14; Lk: 10:19; Matt 28:20)
