Our Father's World

“This Is My Father’s World”,
So goes that great old hymn,
Yes, our God made it all…
It all belongs to Him:
From the highest mountain
To the depths of the sea,
Every flower and leaf
And every kind of tree,
The cattle on the hills
And every creeping thing,
All creatures—great and small…
Oh, let His praises ring!

This is our Father’s world,
Let us rejoice and sing,
For He controls it all...
All glory to Him bring.
Each one of us, my friend,
Were created for Him,
And for His own pleasure
Within the Kingdom realm.
As we serve our great King,
Though Satan’s darts unfurl,
Together let us sing…
This is Our Father’s World.

“For the Lord is a great God, and a great King above all gods.
In his hand are the deep places of the earth:
the strength of the hills is his also. The sea is his, and he made it:
and his hands formed the dry land.”
“Thou art worthy, O Lord, to receive glory and honour and power:
for thou hast created all things, and for thy pleasure
they are and were created.”
(Ps 95:3-5; Rev 4:11)
