God's Beautiful Garden

In that first beautiful garden
All was made perfect and right—
Adam and Eve walked with God…
In Glorious Holy Light.
It was in that beautiful garden
The very first sin took place,
And the world was changed forever…
The fall of the human race.

In the midst of this present world,
Where sin and darkness prevail,
The Creator shines forth His Light…
To redeem from sin and hell.
The Light of our risen Savior,
God’s only begotten Son,
Penetrates the darkest regions…
And redemption work is done.

The soul who earnestly repents,
Turns to Jesus and believes,
Has a heart of fertile soil…
And such precious seed receives.
Fruit from that well watered garden
Is the best that can be found—
It is fruit unto holiness—
Lasting life on Holy Ground…
In God’s Beautiful Garden.

“Thou shalt be like a well watered garden,
and like a spring of water, whose waters fail not.”
“Now being made free from sin, and become servants of God,
ye have your fruit unto holiness, and the end everlasting life.”
(Is 58:11; Rom 6:22)
