It All Goes Back in the Box
Someone has said: "Life is like a Monopoly game"
And this message is so true;
All the buildings, houses, land, and cash,
Go back in the box when through.
Life in Christ our Lord, and deeds in Him,
No human can take away;
But the things acquired while on this earth
Go back in the box one day.
An extended hand to one in need
Brings blessings from the Lord;
A cup of water given in His Name
Shall reap eternal reward.
Reaching out to a soul whose bound...
We lay up treasures in heaven,
And enjoy the benefits here and now
As God's true riches are given.
But the clothes, the cars, the stocks and bonds,
The jewelry - the diamond rocks,
Even the body...when the game ends...
It All Goes Back in the Box.
"...the things which are seen are temporal; but the things which are not seen are eternal."
"Labour not for the meat which perisheth, but for that meat which endureth unto everlasting life..."
"Lay not up for yourselves treasures upon earth...But lay up for yourselves treasures in heaven...
For where your treasure is, there will your heart be also."
(II Cor.4:18; John 6:27; Matt.6:19-21)
