A Holy Living Sanctuary
Our bodies are the temple of God,
To be kept pure and clean-
A Holy Living Sanctuary
Where God's great Truth is seen.
His Holy Spirit abides within,
Abundant life to bring...
We're set apart for sacred service
As we worship our King.
Only by the blood of Christ our Lord
Can we be purified,
And only walking close with Him
Are our hearts sanctified.
Lord, keep us close and our temple clean,
Enable us to be
A Holy Living Sanctuary...
As we humbly serve Thee.
"Know ye not that ye are the temple of God, And that the Spirit of God dwelleth in you?"
If any man defile the temple of God, him shall God destroy;
For the temple of God is holy, which temple ye are."
(I Cor.3:16-17)
