What Manner of Man is This?
"What manner of man is this
That even the wind and sea obey...?"
Every step on earth He took
Miracles happened in that day.
He walked upon the water,
And turned water into wine;
He unstopped the ears of the deaf,
And opened the eyes of the blind;
He healed the sick, raised the dead,
He touched and healed the lame;
He fed a crowd with a little lunch,
And forgave all who humbly came;
He spoke and the storm was still,
Even the sea obeyed His will;
He claimed to be God's own Son,
And willingly died on the cross;
His precious blood, shed for man,
Was a ransom for the lost.
He arose just as He said,
And walked and talked among men,
Then ascended into heaven...
The price was paid for sin.
This man who walked among us
Gives life and eternal bliss
To all who bow before Him...
"What Manner of Man is This...?"
"...Thou art the Christ, the Son of the living God."
