I Believe
I believe Christ, the Son of the Living God,
Came down to earth;
I believe He died for sin and rose again
To give new birth;
I believe He lives today and sets men free
To live with Him eternally...
Yes, I believe!
I believe that in the very darkest night,
He is our Light;
I believe when traveling on life's roughest road,
He lifts our load;
I believe if we'll just look to Him each day,
He'll take our hand and lead the way...
Yes, I believe!
I believe when all hope is beyond our view,
He sees us through;
I believe miracles can happen every day,
If we'll just pray;
I believe our Lord, who came to save lost man,
Will soon return to earth again...
Yes, I believe!
I believe we'll see Him coming in the air
And meet Him there;
I believe we'll dwell with Him on heaven's shore
Forevermore.
Every time I see the twinkling stars come out,
Or view the moon, I want to shout...
Oh, how I Believe!
