The Victory's Ours
As sure as our God is working
By His righteous, sovereign hand,
Satan's forces are always there...
Attempting to thwart His plan.
Should we worry or be dismayed
When evil shows its dark face?
Could darkness ever overcome
The light of amazing grace?
If all hell's demons from below
Should run rampant upon earth,
Could one child of God be destroyed
Who's experienced new birth?
While Satan hates God's holiness
And will persist to the end,
Our Creator's so much greater...
The Victory's Ours to win!
"For whatsoever is born of God overcometh the world;
