Peace with Thee
Lord God, grant true peace in America...
The peace that comes from Thee;
May Thy Spirit move across our great land
Setting the captives free.
Though every foe on this earth be vanquished,
Though all the wars may cease,
Apart from the shed blood of Christ our Lord,
A soul has no true peace.
Oh, may we lift high Thy Royal Banner
For all the world to see...
Only at the cross of Christ our Saviour
Do we find Peace with Thee.
"Therefore being justified by faith, we have peace with God
through our Lord Jesus Christ"
