A Humble Dwelling
A humble dwelling
where there is love
Is a mansion to me,
When spiritual blessings from above…
Bring peaceful harmony.
The finest house in all of this world
Could not bring happiness,
Unless the riches of God unfurl…
With warmth and joyfulness.
For A house just does not make a home
And never ever will;
Until new life in our Lord is known,
There’s a cold, empty chill.
Just A Humble house where love abides
Is all we really need;
For an humble heart where Christ resides…
Makes us wealthy indeed!
“Better
it is to be of an humble spirit with the lowly,
than to divide the spoil with the proud.”
“God resisteth the proud, but giveth grace unto the humble.”
“Humble yourselves in the sight of the Lord, and he shall lift
you up.”
(Prov.16:19; James 4:6,10)
