Lord, lift us
up, help us to stand…
Beacons of Light in this dark land;
Keep us following close to You…
No matter what all others do.
And though we may not understand
The working of Your sovereign hand,
We know in every single trial…
You’re right there with us all the while.
Those times we feel we can’t go on,
Remind us, Lord, that we’re Your own;
And as our eyes are stayed on You…
Amazing grace will see us through.
When we’re weary and burdened down
With so many cares that surround,
Lord, Lift Us Up, help us to stand…
