Peace

 

 

He calmed the angry storm simply saying, "Peace be still".
The wind and sea obey Him bowing at His will.
As we turn our eyes on Jesus, submitting to His call,
His Spirit calms our troubled heart, giving peace whate’er befall.
What blissful sweet communion with our heavenly Father above,
As we become partakers of His goodness, grace and love.
He bestows upon His people all heavenly fruits to bear,
While keeping them safely sheltered in His tender loving care.
How could we cease to praise the One who satisfies our heart,
Removing the sin and turmoil, sweet peace to impart.
It passes all understanding, this fruit of the heavenly Dove,
And is free to all who come to Him seeking mercy, truth and love.
Yes, our Lord is ready to quiet the storm, and calm the troubled sea
Of those who bow before Him in faith and humility.
Knowing He’s in complete control, all fears within shall cease -
Be still and know that He is God...
He’ll give you perfect peace.
