Where Souls Draw Nigh

In the darkest night there shines a light, and all who look shall see,
The radiant glow that fills the soul, and sets the captive free.
In the deepest valley there’s a mountain peak for all to gaze upon.
It lifts the spirit, giving grace and hope, until the battle’s won.
In sickness there’s a great physician whose touch can make us whole,
And all who come to Him for healing are cleansed within the soul.
In sorrow there’s a comforter who loves beyond compare.
He’s touched with our infirmities, our burdens all to bear.
In poverty there’s abundant wealth that this world cannot measure.
No one there goes hungry, who feeds on heavenly treasure.
Thank God for the Light in darkness, and for the mountain high.
Thank Him for the valley deep, where souls to Him draw nigh.

"Draw nigh to God, and he will draw nigh to you"
(James 4:8)
