God is Omniscient

 

 

Our Lord God is omniscient,
He sees each deed we do;
There’s not one thought or intent
That’s hidden from His view.
Just as He sees the Sparrow
And takes note when it falls,
He sees and knows His children…
And hears each one who calls.
God is Omniscient!

That soul shall never prosper
Who tries to cover sin,
For the deeds done in darkness
Shall come to light, my friend.
Yes, our God knows everything,
We cannot hide from Him;
Oh, let us be transparent…
A light in darkness grim.
God is Omniscient!

 

 

 “Thou knowest my downsitting and mine uprising,
thou understandest my thought afar off.
Thou compassest my path and my lying down,
and art acquainted with all my ways.
For there is not a word in my tongue, but, lo, O LORD,
Thou knowest it altogether.”
(Ps 139:2-4)
