In the Palm of His Hand

 

 

In the palm of His hand there’s peace—
Peace beyond the human mind—
Peace that endures the storms of life
And can never be defined…
It passes all understanding!

In the palm of His hand there’s joy—
Joy even when all looks grim—
Joy that this world could never give,
For it comes only from Him…
Unspeakable, full of Glory!

In the palm of His hand there’s hope—
Hope for a new tomorrow—
Hope of that land beyond the sea
Where there is no more sorrow…
Christ in us, the hope of Glory!

In the palm of His hand there’s Light—
Light that guides our steps each day—
Light that shines thru the darkest night
Revealing the righteous way…
O what precious Holy Light!

In the palm of His hand there’s life—
Life so abundant and pure—
Life given by the Lord Jesus
Shall forevermore endure…
In the Palm of His Hand!

 

Jesus said: “And I give unto them eternal life;
and they shall never perish, neither shall any man pluck them out
out of my hand. My Father, which gave them me, is greater than all;
and no man is able to pluck them out of my Father’s hand.”
(Jn 10:28-29)
