Be Not Dismayed

 

 

Be not dismayed when troubles come
And fiery darts assail;
Trusting in Christ, God’s only Son,
We shall ever prevail.
Though this world be tossed and shaken,
There’s no need for alarm;
Friend, we’ll never be forsaken,
Nor ever suffer harm…
Be Not Dismayed.

Oh we may feel the flames of fire
And stumble to the ground,
But, praise God, we’re lifted higher,
And greater faith is found.
Let us rejoice, my Christian friend,
God is working His plan;
Troubles cannot harm His Children,
We are safe in His hand…
Be Not Dismayed.

 

 

 The Lord said: “I will never leave thee, nor forsake thee.”
“Fear thou not; for I am with thee: be not dismayed;
for I am thy God: I will strengthen thee; yea, I will help thee;
yea, I will uphold thee with the right hand of my righteousness.”
(Heb 13:5; Is 41:10)
