In Times of Trouble

 

 

In times of trouble there’s revival
As God stretches forth His hand;
He is in complete control, my friend…
And He has a perfect plan.
No weapon formed against us prospers,
Though it be in skillful hands,
Satan cannot compete with our Lord,
And he cannot thwart His plans...
In Times of Trouble.

We can depend on our Great Shepherd
When we do not understand;
And we can know in difficult times…
He is holding our right hand.
That same hand that raised Christ from the dead,
And in mercy forgave us,
Is the outstretched hand that undergirds…
And so lovingly saves us…
In Times of Trouble.

 

 

 “Though I walk in the midst of trouble, thou wilt revive me:
thou shalt stretch forth thine hand against the wrath
of mine enemies, and thy right hand shall save me.”
The Lord said: “For I the LORD thy God will hold thy
right hand, saying unto thee, Fear not; I will help thee.”
(Ps 138:7: Is 41:13)
