The Gospel

 

 

The Gospel of the Lord Jesus,
God’s only begotten Son,
Is to be preached throughout the world…
Till all time on earth is done.
There is no other Gospel Truth,
Nothing else can save the soul;
Only the precious blood of Christ
Can make a lost sinner whole…
Christ is The Gospel!

Let us spread the word everywhere,
The Great Redeemer hath come;
Let all heaven and earth bow down…
In worship to God the Son.
O let the hallelujahs ring,
And our joyful voices sing,
As we share the glorious message
Of the Christ, our risen King…
He is The Gospel!

Make the message so clear and plain,
God’s love extends to all men...
Tell every kindred, tongue, and race,
There is forgiveness of sin;
Call them to Christ, our precious Lord,
To be raised from miry clay;
In Him, abundant life is found…
Let us show lost souls the Way…
Christ is The Gospel!

 

Jesus said: “I am the way, the truth, and the life:
no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.”
“Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature.”
“I am come that they might have life,
and that they might have it more abundantly.”
(Jn 14:6; Mk 16:15; Jn 10:10)
