The Men Who Win

Here’s to the men who win:
They may not have an eloquent place –
A mansion here to show,
And they may not have fortune or fame
As they live here below…
But they face life with a winning smile
Whatever comes their way,
And they live a good, honest lifestyle
Doing their best each day.

Here’s to the men who win:
They may not receive man’s grand applause,
Nor cheers to carry on,
Reaching higher, and much higher still,
Rewards are oft unknown.
Their battles fought may never be won,
As far as the eye sees…
Yet, they travel on from sun to sun
Their God alone to please.

Here’s to the men who win:
They may never know the world’s success,
Many may say they’ve failed;
Yet, they’ve stood firm and not compromised,
Though Satan’s darts assailed;
Here is the true test of success, friend:
Have you heard the good news?
Have you received Christ as Lord and King?
If so, you cannot lose...
Here’s to The Men Who Win!

"He that believeth on the Son hath everlasting life:
and he that believeth not the Son shall not see life;
but the wrath of God abideth on him."
(John 3:36)
