Inner Beauty

 

 

Outer beauty soon vanishes,
It is fleeting and so vain,
But inner beauty doth not fade…
It shall evermore remain.

Though our spirit be departed
And our bodies in the grave,
The Light of our Lord will shine on…
Through meek souls whom He hath saved.

True beauty is the life of Christ –
The Spirit of God within,
A life of holiness and peace…
Shining forth, the lost to win.

Yes, outer beauty vanishes,
It is fleeting and so vain,
But Inner Beauty doth not fade…
It shall evermore remain.
