The Inner Man

Within each believer’s heart,
Where God’s Spirit doth reside,
A still small voice speaks clearly,
To lead, instruct, and to guide;
As we carefully listen
To the inner man each day,
In accordance with God’s Word…
Our Shepherd will lead the way.

Those times when the outer man
Suffers weakness and is frail,
The inner man is strengthened
And can never ever fail;
Though we’re weak, our God is strong,
And He holds us in His hand,
Molding us spiritually…
Strengthening The Inner Man.

Let us glory in weakness
And in our infirmities,
That we may know God’s goodness
And strength in adversities;
As we depend upon Him
And His perfect sovereign plan,
Christ’s power rests upon us…
Renewing The Inner Man.

“Most gladly therefore will I rather glory in my infirmities,
that the power of Christ may rest upon me….
For when I am weak, then am I strong.”
“Though our outward man perish, yet the inward man
is renewed day by day.”
(IICor. 12:9,10; 4:16)
