An Awesome God
Oh, what an awesome God we serve,
We see His hand everywhere…
On land and sea, and in the sky,
Wherever we look He’s there;
Sometimes, when we expect it least,
When all is quiet and still…
His presence overwhelms our soul…
As the whole room He doth fill.
Oh, what an awesome God we serve,
He breaks the power of sin…
Birthing souls into His kingdom,
Giving new life within.
How awesome it is to witness
The hand of His Spirit there…
Drawing the lost to repentance…
In His tender loving care.
Oh, what an awesome God we serve,
When all is going our way…
The sun is out and all is well,
We stand in awe in that day;
And in the dark difficult times,
When that road is rough we trod…
We find amazing strength and joy…
Trusting in An Awesome God.
“Let all the inhabitants of the world
stand in awe of him.”
“Stand in awe, and sin not: commune with your own heart upon your
bed,
and be still…Offer the sacrifices of righteousness, and put your
trust in the Lord.”
