Humble Still
Humbly - we bow before the cross,
Seeking forgiveness there,
Where Christ suffered, bled and died...
All our sins to bear.
Humbly - we receive God's pardon,
Believing in Him who came,
Gloriously freed from bondage...
We praise His Holy Name.
Humbly - we sit at our Saviour's feet,
Worshipping His Majesty,
Abundantly reaping from that seat...
The blessings of eternity.
Humbly - we walk before our God,
Following our Shepherd's lead,
Gladly hearing the Spirit's call...
His Holy Word to heed.
Fervently we serve our Lord and King,
Joyfully doing His will,
Living in His grace and power...
He keeps us Humble Still.
"God resisteth the proud, but giveth grace to the humble."
