The Light of Calvary
Lifted from a dark domain
Into Thy marvelous Light,
Delivered from a state of sin-
Given new spiritual sight,
The pleasures of this world are nothing
Compared, oh, Lord to Thee...
As a heart once dark and blind
Sees the Light of Calvary.
Not a trace of desire to go back,
For this world holds no attraction,
Walking in Thy Light we find
Complete joy and satisfaction.
Wondrous pleasures enrich our lives
In the realm of true reality...
As such glorious blessings unfold
In the Light of Calvary.
"...ye were sometimes darkness, but now are ye light in the Lord:
walk as children of the light:
(For the fruit of the Spirit is in all goodness and righteousness and truth;)"
