Peace and Joy at Christmas
The peace that passes understanding
And joy that last all year
Are not found in wrapped packages,
Bright lights or Christmas cheer,
But in the quietness of the spirit
Humbly submitted and still,
As one comes to know the Saviour,
His purpose and His will.
He's more than a babe in a manger,
More than a Christmas story;
He's the Son of The Living God...
The Eternal King of Glory.
The wondrous light of His presence
Gives true joy all year round,
And as He indwells His people,
It's there real peace is found.
As we celebrate His miracle birth
This busy time of year,
May we truly worship our Lord
And sense His presence near.
May our hearts be filled with praise
To Christ our Lord and King,
For the everlasting Peace and Joy
Knowing Him doth bring.
