The Lighthouse
Lord Jesus, You're The Lighthouse
As we sail life's troubled sea-
The Beacon of hope and mercy
That saves and sets us free.
As a sailor seeks a tower
In the dark stormy night,
Our hearts cry out for Thee, Lord-
Our refuge and our Light.
Shine upon the rocks and reefs
Of sins destroying force,
That we might navigate safely
And always stay on course.
Thy wondrous Holy Light
Enables us to see
As we steer toward Glory Land
To live eternally.
Thank You for being The Lighthouse-
Exposing danger around,
As we sail with Thee on the sea of life...
Set free and homeward bound.
"Then spake Jesus..., I am the light of the world: he that followeth
me shall not walk in darkness, but shall have the light of life."
(John 8:12)
