If Everyone Were Free
If everyone were saved by grace,
What a great world this would be!
Blessings indeed would fill this place,
If everyone were free.
More folks would stand for what is right,
And be quick to shun the wrong;
They would walk by faith, not by sight,
And sing a joyful song.
No one could claim perfection here,
For at times we fall away,
But there would be more holiness
And harmony each day.
Satan's stronghold would be broken,
No more dominion of sin;
Peace and joy would flood this great land,
If all were free within.
A place is prepared for Christians,
Over on the other shore,
Where everyone is saved by grace,
Rejoicing evermore;
But what if all were saved right here?
What a difference we would see!
Blessings indeed would fill our land…
If Everyone Were Free.
Jesus said: "I am the door: by me if any man enter in,
He shall be saved." "Sin shall have no more dominion over you."
"Being made free from sin…ye have your fruit unto holiness,
and the end everlasting life."
(John 10:9; Rom. 6:14, 22)
