In the Midst of War
In the midst of war where dangers surround,
There's a peaceful calm where safety is found.
The battle may rage - the future unsure…
God's Spirit within gives strength to endure.
Though the path be dark as fierce darts assail,
Stayed upon the Lord, God's people prevail;
Completely secure in Christ evermore…
Such a peaceful calm…In the Midst of War.
"Thou will keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on thee"
(Isa. 26:3)
