Come and Dine

Friend, do you hunger after righteousness?
Is your soul thirsty and dry?
A feast is prepared in the wilderness…
To completely satisfy.
When you come, with all of your heart and soul,
To this table so divine,
You will find sweet manna to make you whole…
God invites you…Come and Dine.

Come to the table, spread by the Savior,
And never look back again,
Enjoy new life, and a new behavior…
As you eat this bread my friend.
Jesus will break every chain that binds you,
On Him you can rely,
Just leave all other tables behind you…
They will never satisfy.

Oh, come and dine with the King of Glory…
Enjoy His wonderful feast!
Then, go – proclaim that marvelous story…
Of His great love, joy, and peace.
Never has a hungry soul been denied,
Who yields to the Master’s call,
The invitation reaches far and wide…
To all creatures, great and small…
Come and Dine!

“Ye cannot be a partaker of the Lord’s table,
and of the table of devils.”
“Jesus said … I am the bread of life:
he that cometh to me shall never hunger; and he that believeth
on me shall never thirst.”
(I Co 10:21; Jo 6:35)
