Take the Time

 

 

Friend, take the time to live and love,
And sit a spell for tea,
To walk along a sandy beach…
And thank God you are free,
To hear the songbirds as they sing
Praises to Christ the King,
To see the glow of new blossoms…
Praising Him in the spring.

Take the time to care for others,
And give to them a smile,
Be willing and ready to help…
And go that second mile.
Take time to study your Bible
And meditate a while,
Feed upon the pure Word of God…
Live a holy lifestyle.

Take the time to pray every day,
God is faithful and true,
Thank Him for His amazing grace…
That always sees you thru.
Be filled with fruits of righteousness,
Christ now living in you,
Oh, give God praise and glory, friend…
In everything you do.
Take the Time.
