Face to Face

Face to face, we shall see Jesus,
On that great celestial shore,
When He calls us home and frees us…
To reign with Him evermore.

Every tear shall be wiped away –
No more trouble – no more pain,
Only rejoicing in that day…
As we praise His Holy Name.

When, face to face, we behold Him,
All shall be made clear and plain,
We shall see that every trial…
Was for our spiritual gain.

Face to face, He’ll welcome us home,
To walk the streets of pure gold,
And reap rewards for the seeds sown…
That led lost sheep to His fold.

Let us serve Him while there is time…
Go to the broken hearted,
A cup of water, in His Name…
Shall not be unrewarded.

Face to face, we shall see Jesus…
And cast our crown at His feet,
Let us be good, faithful servants…
Till our precious Lord we meet…
Face to Face.

 “His servants shall serve him: and they shall see his face;
and his name shall be in their foreheads. And there shall be no night there;
and they need no candle, neither light of the sun; for the Lord God giveth
them light: and they shall reign for ever and ever.”
(Rev 3-5)
