Come to Christ

Are you tired, weary, and worn?
Your soul cast down and forlorn?
Just come to Christ, my friend.
Seek Him with all of your heart,
Such blessings He will impart…
As you bow before Him.

Though your soul be tempest tossed,
Far away from God and lost,
Lovingly, He doth call.
Come to the cross, tarry not,
Kneel before that holy spot…
And surrender your all.

His sweet Spirit will descend,
Your heavy heart He will mend,
Giving you rest within.
By His grace, you shall be free,
Evermore with Him to be…
O Come to Christ, my friend.

Jesus said: “Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden,
And I will give you rest.” “Him that cometh to me I will in no wise cast out.”
(Matt 11:28; Joh 6:37)
