Hurt and Victory

 

 

It is paradoxical, but so true,
We can hurt and be victorious too…
When resting in our Shepherd’s tender care,
We have a foundation that’s always there –
A foundation of faith and peace in Him –
A Light within that shall never grow dim.

During times of grief, when all looks so bleak,
An underlying joy sustains God’s sheep;
Jesus Christ, our Great Shepherd, lives within –
Our strong Anchor, our Rock, our Dearest Friend.
Yes, it is paradoxical, but true…
We can hurt and have the victory too.
