Your Journey's End
When you come, my friend, to your journey’s end,
And leave this world behind,
Will there be, for you, a home beyond the blue…
Where joyful bliss you’ll find?
Are you cleansed from sin? Will you enter in,
And walk the streets of gold?
Not a worry there, not a tear or care…
Perfect peace in each soul.
When you come, my friend, to your journey’s end,
And from this world depart,
Will you see Christ’s face? Are you saved by grace?
Does He live in your heart?
Have you knelt to pray? Are you on your way?
Will you take flight with glee?
At your journey’s end, will you enter in…
And be completely free?
When you come, my friend, to your journey’s end,
And bid this world adieu,
Will you reach that shore, home forevermore…
Oh, will you make it through?
That great land beyond, where loved ones have gone,
Lies just around the bend…
Hear the Spirit’s call, surrender your all…
Before Your Journey’s End.
Jesus said: “Not everyone that saith unto
me Lord, Lord,
shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will
of my Father which is in heaven.”
“If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to for give us
our sins,
and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.”
(Matt 7:21; I Jo 1:9)
