The Battle is Won!

 

When the battle is raging, my friend,
And it looks as though evil will win,
Just take a look in the Holy Book…
And you will know who wins in the end…
Jesus Christ Has Overcome!

Always remember, He is with you,
He’s all powerful, faithful, and true,
Just be aware of His presence there…
His loving arms will carry you through…
You are secure in God’s Son!

In the heat of the fierce battle, friend,
On Christ, your Savior, you can depend,
So, never doubt, as you look about…
Just trust in His Spirit to defend…
For He Has Already Won!

When, in Jesus, we live and abide,
As the battle rages, we are tried,
But as we look in the Holy Book…
We know, for sure, God is on our side…
Victory is in His Son!

Jesus Christ conquered all when He came,
And the battle is won, praise His Name!
As He hung there, with such love and care…
He overcame evil, sin, and shame…
Yes, The Battle is Won!
