According to His Mercy

 

 

According to His mercy, He saved us
To live with Him evermore;
According to His mercy, He gave us
Abundant life on this shore;
According to His mercy, He raised us
From the depths of sinking sand;
According to His mercy, He holds us
Secure in His mighty hand;
According to His mercy, He loves us
With an everlasting love;
According to His mercy, we shall be
With Him in heaven above…
Not by works of righteousness we have done…
But According to His Mercy.

 

“Not by works of righteousness which we have done, but according to his mercy
he saved us, by the washing of regeneration, and renewing of the Holy Ghost;
which he shed on us abundantly through Jesus Christ our Saviour”
(Tit 3:5-6)
