When We See Jesus Face to Face
When we see Jesus face to face,
In that great and glorious place,
What rejoicing there shall be!
Our hearts shall sing forevermore,
When we reach that beautiful shore…
Our precious Savior to see…Face to Face.
There shall be no more curse that day,
Every tear shall be wiped away,
All sorrow and pain shall cease;
No more trouble, or darkness there,
No more heavy burdens to bear…
In that land of perfect peace.
As stated in God’s Holy Word,
Eye hath not seen, nor hath ear heard,
All the great things there shall be;
When we see Jesus, we’ll be home,
And we’ll know, even as we’re known…
There, in glory, beyond the sea.
Oh, hallelujah! Face to face,
We’ll praise Him for amazing grace,
That redeemed and set us free;
All crowns will be cast at His feet,
In our heavenly home so sweet…
Oh, what a day that will be…
When We See Jesus Face to Face.
“For now we see though a glass, darkly; but
then face to face:
now I know in part; but then shall I know even as I am known.”
“There shall be no more curse: … and his servants shall
and they shall see his face”
(I Co 13:12; Rev 22:3-4)
