Walk Worthy
When you walk through the valley,
Keep your eyes on Jesus there…
Lest you become discouraged
And sink into deep despair;
When walking on the mountain,
Meditate on God’s Word, friends,
Lest you yield to the tempter,
And fall into hurtful sins…
Walk Worthy.
When you walk on a smooth plain,
Rejoice in your precious Lord…
Lest your hearts become stagnant
And His great treasures you hoard;
When the pathway gets bumpy,
Join your hearts in one accord…
Lest you become divided,
And deny your loving Lord…
Walk Worthy.
When resting in His pastures,
Count your blessings carefully…
Lest you become ungrateful
And great riches fail to see;
When walking by still waters,
Delight in God’s refreshing…
Lest you become unfruitful,
And others miss the blessing…
Walk Worthy.
“Walk worthy of the vocation wherewith ye are
called. With all lowliness and meekness,
with longsuffering, forbearing one another in love;
Endeavouring to keep the unity of the Spirit in the bond of peace.”
(Eph 4:1-3)
