Be Strong!

 

 

Your adversary, the devil,
Brings temptation every day;
He knows his time is running out…
And wants you to walk his way…
We must Be Strong!

He comes as an angel of light,
To deceive and lead astray;
But when we’re anchored in Jesus…
He cannot begin to sway…
If we’ll Be Strong!

As a roaring lion, he seeks us,
To steal, to kill, and destroy;
And if we’re weak, he’ll rob us…
Of contentment, peace, and joy…
We must Be Strong!

It is the whole armor of God
That enables us to stand;
The wiles of the devil may tempt…
But we’re secure in God’s hand…
We can Be Strong!

 

 “Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord,
and in the power of his might. Put on the whole
armour of God, that ye may be able to stand
against the wiles of the devil.”
(Eph 6:10-11)
