Our Secret Place

 

 

There is a secret place...
Holy, peaceful, and pure,
Where the redeemed abide
Forevermore secure.
Nothing can harm us there,
We’re sheltered in our God.
He’s our place of refuge,
As on this earth we trod…
Our Secret Place.

Underneath His shadow,
We have a lasting joy,
A joy that not one thing
Could begin to destroy.
The enemy works hard,
And some things he can do,
But he’s not strong enough
To tear down or break through…
Our Secret Place.

Our LORD God is most High,
Mighty in truth and deed,
None is equal to Him,
And He protects His seed.
Under the Almighty,
We dwell safe and secure,
Resting in His strong arms…
A place that will endure…
Our Secret Place.

 “He that dwelleth in the secret place
of the most High shall abide under the shadow
of the Almighty.”
(Ps 91:1)
