On Heaven's Shore

 

 

When we reach Heaven’s wondrous shore,
What a day that will be!
We shall rejoice forevermore…
At home completely free.

We’ll see those mansions in Glory,
Walk the streets of pure gold,
Join with loved ones gone before us…
See great blessings unfold.

But it’s when we see our Shepherd,
Jesus, whom we adore,
That we shall know we’re really home…
Yes, home forevermore…
On Heaven’s Shore.

 

 Jesus said: “I go to prepare a place for you.
And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again,
and receive you unto myself; that where I am,
there ye may be also.”
(Jn 14:2-3)
