God's Angels

 

 

God has his angels on this earth,
The Bible is very clear;
They abide, not just in Heaven,
But are all around us here.
They minister to His people
In so many different ways,
And they are especially close…
To an humble soul who prays.

God’s angels vividly appeared
In Jacobs amazing dream,
Ascending, descending from High…
A taste of Heaven was gleaned.
In Sodom, they appeared to Lot
With a warning to get out,
And Lot fled that sinful city…
Where judgment fell all about.

Angels ministered to Jesus,
Who refused to yield to sin—
There in the wilderness that night,
Great victory He did win.
He gives His angels charge o’er us,
To keep us in all our ways;
When we consider God’s Angels…
We cannot help but give praise.

 

 “He shall give his angels charge over thee,
to keep thee in all thy ways.”
(Ps 91:11)
