Without Sin

Jesus, the Son of the Living God,
Lived on this earth without sin;
The pure Lamb, without blemish or spot,
Gave His life for sinful men.
O how mankind needed a savior
To lift from the miry clay…
Christ Jesus, the promised Messiah,
So willingly paved the way…
He was Without Sin.

Our Lord was tempted on that mountain
By Satan’s cunning offer,
But He firmly refused to bow down,
For He had come to suffer.
He knew He faced an old rugged tree
Where our sin debt would be paid,
Yes, He had come for you and for me--
True to His mission He stayed…
He was Without Sin.

Holy, Holy, Holy is the Lamb,
Give praise to His lovely Name…
God came in the flesh—the Great I am!
And nothing has been the same!
O Lord Jesus, as You are Holy,
We pray we’d be Holy too,
As Your Spirit lives within our hearts…
Mold us and make us like You…
Without Sin.

 “For we have not an high priest which cannot
be touched with the feeling of our infirmities;
but was in all points tempted like as we are,
yet, without sin.”
(Heb 4:15)
